It's a brand new year.... I can't believe how the time flies by...
2011 had been very good. A numbers of my to do item have been crossed from my list.... boooyaaaaaaaaaahhh.

Spent the end of 2012 with the people that meant the most to me... my family.
We went to Cherating after the Christmas holidays and spent a couple of days at Legend Cherating hotel. Not really impressed with the hotel though but since we used my sister's free voucher cant really complaint much. It was the monsoon season so the weather was a bit gloomy and the wave was rough so it was a bit disappointing for the kids and they cant go swimming.

As usual when my family get together, food will be the center of the activities. From gulai tempoyak to noodle was all prepared using our rice cooker by my sister eda(the cook of the family).

My job was to bully my nieces and nephews as evident in the picture below.

This year was the first raya we had to celebrate after my mother's passing. I wasnt really in the mood to celebrate with all the issue that happened at work that dampen my raya mood. Pack all my stuff and went back to my hometown and even had to berbuke dalam kete cause wanted to avoid the trafic. Sedih gak drive balik kampong dengar lagu raye, nasib balik raye sorang kalau tak mesti kene control hahahha

Boy we had a lot to do in one day. Dengan langsir yang tak jahit lagi, rumah nak kemas and i dont have anak anak saudara to push around. It seems everyone lambat balik this raya. Atleast masak was managed by my sister eda. Ogy jahit langsir and i was responsible for the cleaning.

Finally my eldest brother arrive and he took charge in arranging the furniture. It's been a long time since he took part in decorating the house. Zaman muda dulu macam macam dia buat especially gantong kad raye especially.

I bought the material for the langsir from KL and choose purple influence. Summer colour selection in paris muahahahah. My sister tak sempat finish the langsir the sliding door sebab kene balik rumah mertua. I cant ask my other sister sebab dia sibok masak and my sister in law lambat balik sebab baju yang dia jahit untok tempahan tak siap siap lagi. I was not about to tak tukar langsir pintu depan rumah so main jahit ajelahhhh. How hard can it be? As long as people dont look at the detail jahitan cukoplah.... resultnye memang jahitan langsir yang bersimpang sior. Memanglah kalau raye tak kelang kabot tak thrill. Akhirnye berjaye jugak gantong langsir satu pagi.... selamatttt

selepas selesai tolong ape yang dapat tolong kat dapor sah sah kol tiga pagi baru nak tido.

Setelah selesai sembahyang hari raya kami terus menziarahi pusara ibu pakcik. Kami buat bacaan yassin dengan diketuai anak saudara pakcik Ihsan. Pasti bonda pakcik bangga dengan ihsan, cucu yang dibesarkan oleh bunda pakcik.

Balik rumah sessi bermaafan dan bergambar lah....

Masa part bermaafan ni i was not able to control the tears. Cepat cepat finish my turn.

Budak Budak punye turn ape lagi, beratur nak dapat duit raya lah.

Sudah menjadi tradisi sepupu-sepupu pakcik yang berkumpul dirumah belakang akan menziarahi. Mereka pon dah takde ibu dan ayah jadi cuma berkumpul pabila raya atau kenduri kendara saje. Kami buat doa selamat dan jamuan ringkas dengan juadah yang disediakan oleh kakak kakak pakcik. Pastinya rendang, lemang, nasi impit, kuah kacang semuanye ade. Ketupat palas yang tak pernah pernah kami buat pon ade.

Sorrylahhhh anak anak saudara ku, Baju raya pakcik warna putih ye tak dapat nak tolong sasoh pinggan muahahahhaha lariiiiiii.

Setelah selesai segala acara kami pon pergi beraya ke kampong bapa pakcik. Hai makan makan dan makanlah aktivitinye.

Anak saudara pakcik sorang ni berdalik tak nak ikot. Lepas kene leter dengan pakcik baru nak ikot. Mane tak nye raye kan setahun sekali. inilah mase nak korbankan bersama keluarga. Nasiblah budak budak ni nak dengar cakap.
